Armagh Celebrates 60 Years With the William Kennedy Piping Festival

Articles

Armagh’s piping community has an anniversary to celebrate. Armagh Pipers Club turns 60 in 2026, and the 31st William Kennedy Piping Festival brings concerts, learning and international piping traditions to the city from November 12–15.

The weekend offers several ways to take part: listen to visiting performers, join sessions, or explore the academy’s classes and workshops. Friday’s anniversary concert places six decades of the club’s work at the centre of the celebration.
