To promote the study, teaching, and performance of Ceol Mor, the “Great Music” of the Highland Bagpipe in central Pennsylvania

Society Activities

The Piobaireachd Society of Central Pennsylvania promotes piobaireachd by supporting the following:

1. “Introduction to Piobaireachd” workshops for pipers new to Ceol Mor.
2. Providing a forum for piobaireachd players to perform the Great Music.
3. Supporting piobaireachd competitions in central Pennsylvania region.
4. Sponsoring Professional piobaireachd players through recitals and workshops.

These members have participated in a Piobaireachd Society of Central PA event.
