The Isle of Arran Pipe Band is a community band based on the Isle of Arran, Scotland. Led by Pipe Major Malcolm Wheeler, the band wears the Isle of Arran tartan and performs at events around the island throughout the year.
The Brodick Highland Games are a highlight of the band’s calendar, including individual performances and massed pipes and drums at the Games field and ferry terminal. The band rehearses in Brodick and welcomes people interested in learning or joining.
The community band also promotes the associated Isle of Arran Music School Pipe Band and the island’s youth piping and drumming tuition programme.
