Oban Pipe Band is an active competition and community band based in Oban, Argyll and Bute. Founded in 1922, the band has been part of the town’s public musical life for more than a century.
The band competes at major Scottish pipe-band championships and performs at selected concerts, community engagements, and local events. Current Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association results list Oban in Grade 2.
