The Shamrock Traditional Irish Music Society (STIMS) promotes and preserves traditional Irish music and culture. Founded in 1999, it is an all-volunteer nonprofit educational organisation presenting concerts, workshops, sessions and performances.

Learn, play and listen

Membership welcomes people interested in learning, teaching, performing, preserving and listening to traditional Irish music. All ages and skill levels are welcome. The society’s in-house performing group is The Shamrogues.

The society advertises Wednesday gatherings from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the Gaelic-American Club, 74 Beach Road, Fairfield, Connecticut, open to the public. Confirm current arrangements on the STIMS website before attending.

Concerts and support

STIMS presents visiting traditional musicians and supports its activities through performances, grants and donations, helping keep concert tickets affordable.
