The Boston Uilleann Pipers Club welcomes uilleann pipers and aspiring players from Boston, eastern New England and beyond, sharing an enthusiasm for the bellows-blown Irish pipes and traditional Irish music.

Meetings and getting started

The club holds open meetings at members’ homes from September through May, combining conversation about pipes, food and drink, and plenty of tunes. All uilleann pipers and would-be pipers are welcome. Consult the club for current meeting arrangements.

A limited number of practice sets are available to rent to club members, and the club helps new players get started. Ask about availability and membership before making plans.

Concerts, workshops and membership

The club maintains a calendar of local and regional piping events and sponsors its own concerts and workshops throughout the year. Members receive discounted admission to club events.
