Carlingford Pipe Band is a community band based in Carlingford, County Louth. The present band was formed in 1973, continuing a local musical tradition that includes an earlier fife and drum band and St Michael’s Pipe and Drum Band.
The band performs at parades, festivals, community celebrations, sporting events, and other public occasions. Its senior membership draws from Carlingford, Cooley, Dundalk, and Newry, while its training program introduces junior members to piping and drumming.
