The 65th Salado Scottish Gathering & Highland Games takes place November 13–15, 2026, in Salado, Texas, supporting Salado Museum and College Park. Enjoy piping and drumming, Highland dance and athletics, clan tents, music, food and Celtic shopping.
Friday, November 13
The Calling of the Clans begins at 6 p.m. on Salado Creekside, north of the museum. A welcome social and buffet supper follows at The Venue, 220 Royal Street; supper tickets are $20. A separately ticketed Friday night cèilidh offers family-friendly Scottish country dancing.
Saturday and Sunday
Gathering activities take place at Barrow Brewing Company and Inn on the Creek:
- Saturday, November 14: 9 a.m.–6 p.m.
- Sunday, November 15: 9 a.m.–3 p.m.
Saturday’s noon opening ceremonies include a band and clan parade from South Main and Thomas Arnold (Pace Park) into the grounds, followed by presentations and piping.

Tickets and visitor information
The listed weekend pass is $25 for adults and $15 for children; children five and under enter free. Tickets are available online and at the gate. Friday supper and cèilidh admissions are separate.
