pipeband in aquitaine france

The Aquitaine Highlanders Pipeband [AHPB] was founded in November 2012 in the Bordeaux region by a small group of bagpipers and drummers passionate about Scottish music.
Under the direction of Pipe Major, Anthony GOMEZ, an experienced ringer and originally from Nashville, Tennessee, the group’s main goal is to promote this musical culture through concerts, shows and parades.
It does it all the more effectively because within it, also works Mickael COZIEN, an emeritus and well-known ringer on the Celtic scene who has been developing and teaching the Scottish bagpipe for many years in the Bordeaux region.
The group performs mainly in the Bordeaux region but has also participated in events outside the borders of New Aquitaine, including the Franco-Scottish festivals in Aubigny sur Nere and as part of the Highland Games in Bressuire.
The objective of this Pipeband being on the one hand to offer quality training in the learning of instruments and on the other hand to animate various events, it invites you not to hesitate to contact him if you want to join his ranks or if you wish to use his services.
