Tunes of Glory was formed in Montgomery, Illinois, in 1980 by Craig “Mac” McCloud and Dr. Jim Rising. Mac is Drum Major Emeritus.

Tunes of Glory has competed in Grades 4 and 5 in the Midwest Pipe Band Association, most recently in Grade 5. The Band also has pipers and drummers who participate successfully in Solo Competition.

We are a performance, parade, competition, and teaching pipe band based in Warrenville, Illinois with members from many of the western suburbs of Chicago. We are composed of about 20 active pipers and drummers and perform throughout the area in a variety of events including parades, concerts, private events, competitions, and solo performances.
