Welcome to the home of the Burnie Highland Pipe Band - the only pipe and drum band in North West Tasmania.
Formed in July 1941, BHPB serves the people of North West Tasmania.
Our playing members come from towns and cities right along the NW coast such as Port Sorell, Devonport, Ulverstone, Penguin, Burnie, Somerset, Wynyard, and Smithton.
The band has weekly practice sessions from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm on Monday nights. The band room is located in the U-Tas precinct at West Park, Burnie, next to the penguin viewing area.
Persons with an interest are welcome to turn up, introduce themselves, and sit in on the practice.
