Netherlands Pipe Band Association

The Netherlands Pipe Band Association is called “Nederlandse Organisatie van Doedelzak Bands” (NOvDB) in Dutch, which translates to “Dutch Bagpipe Bands Organisation” in English; essentially, it is the governing body for pipe bands in the Netherlands.

The NOvDB is the umbrella body of Pipe Bands in the Netherlands. We represent our affiliated pipe bands from the Netherlands as an organization with the Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association, to which we are affiliated as NOvDB, a fully autonomous association.

At the moment, an interim board is busy providing the NOvDB with new statutes, new internal regulations, and a continuation of the ideas of the sounding board groups.
