Alliance of North American Pipe Band Associations

The Alliance of North American Pipe Band Associations (ANAPBA) brings together nine regional piping and drumming associations in Canada and the United States. It promotes cooperation, communication and greater consistency in competition rules, grading and standards.

Its work includes reciprocal grading, shared playing and roster requirements, and coordination with international organizations such as the Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association. It also shares information to help bands and adjudicators prepare for travel across the Canada–United States border.
