Crepuscule

A recognisable presence on the musical scene for the last ten years, CRÉPUSCULE is a celtic music band from Quebec City. Having performed in the past on many scenes like Le Centre d'Art le Chapelle, les Fêtes de la Nouvelle-France et Le Festival des Traditions du Monde de Sherbrooke, the band sings songs in french and english, and also plays instrumental tunes – those reels, jigs and strathspeys so dear to celtic music. Awarded first place at Le Plus Beau Rythme de la Mauricie contest in Trois-Rivières in july 2010, CRÉPUSCULE presents their own material inspired by the traditionnal music of Scotland and Ireland but also offers traditionnal tunes from these regions, thus keeping alive a musical style deeply rooted in the past but firmly established in the present. A show by CRÉPUSCULE is the meeting place of celtic music both new and traditionnal delivered with zest and enchantment.
