The purpose of the Eagle Rock Pipe Band is twofold.  First, it is to foster an appreciation for the history of the state of Idaho and the large  role of the Scots in it’s first settlement.  Second, as a part of the military traditions of the Great Highland Bagpipe and it’s music, we seek to  render our support to our present day men and women who serve in the military to preserve our nation and it’s ideals.  We do this by performing in memorial events, regional festivals and parades and  by raising funds for our favorite charities, principally the Community Food Bank and the Wounded Warrior Project for the needs and struggles of returning  military  veterans.
