Kirk Brunson began playing the bagpipes in 2002 at the age of eight. One year later he started lessons with sought after piping instructor Pipe Major Adam Holdaway and has since progressed to being one of the premier pipers in New England. In 2006, Kirk had the opportunity to join the Stuart Highlanders and has played with them as they have rapidly progressed from grade 5 (beginner) to grade 2 (semi-professional) now being New England's premier pipe band and one of the top pipe bands in United states. Some of the events Kirk has played for in the past include weddings, funerals, memorial services, graduations, Robert Burns dinners, private parties, summer camp activities, and company events.
