Good Afternoon - I thought you  might be interested in our local pipe band - www.midargyllpipeband.org

 

They are a young, non competitive band who focus on performance throughout Mid Argyll & beyond. 

 

Over the last few months they have been working with leading piping and drumming tutors, thanks to a grant from the Clore Duffield foundation which has seen them nominated for a British Charity Award this week in the Arts Culture and Heritage category. 

 

On 25th June  the whole band are heading off to Penzance to perform, once again, at the Golowan Festival.  However, this year they have been invited to support the main act on Saturday night - an Irish punk band called Neck.
