Bagpipes are considered to be among the oldest of musical instruments and thought to date back to about 100 AD. Although there is some dispute as to the history of the bagpipe, there's no doubt that in the context of battle, the powerful sound of bagpipe music struck fear in the hearts of the enemy, and the hauntingly beautiful sound of the bagpipe has stirred hearts of Kings and Queens to the most common man. About Me I have been playing the Great Highland Bagpipes since 2004 under the direction of Piper Major Wayne Willis. Currently a member of the McGuires Irish Pub Pipe Band based in Pensacola Florida, I am available to play at your event (wedding, funeral, or other special event) within the NW Florida, SW Alabama, and SE Mississippi areas.
