Robertson Pipe & Drum Academy

The he Academy was formed in early 2007 with the aim of creating an environment for pipers and drummers to study solo, band performance and pipe band studies, allowing our members to fulfill their potential.

We do this by taking a holistic approach to piping and drumming. Sadly a lot of bands out there will tell you it doesn't really matter what you sound like when playing, as long as your uniform and drill looks good. While others will say dress and drill are not important, only how you sound.

We believe both are critical to a professional and impressive performance.


We aim to cater for any level of piper or drummer, from absolute beginners to seasoned players
