The Balmoral board and staff believe that a major national competition focusing on youth is the perfect event to strengthen American piping and reward the nation's best young players with the recognition they deserve for their dedication and excellence in competitive performance. It is our hope and vision that competing at the Balmoral Classic will become the standard to which talented young American pipers aspire, providing them the experience and the confidence necessary to compete on international platforms. This can only bode well for the future standard of American bagpiping and is wholly consistent with Balmoral's mission of providing "world class instruction, presenting innovative musical events, and fostering tradition, with an emphasis on youth."
