Detail:

Mercer University Pipes and Drums (MUPD) was formed in April 1998.  Some of its original members came from the Culloden (Georgia) Pipe Band.  MUPD accepts new members from both the university and community.  The band provides free training in Scottish piping and drumming during its weekly meetings on campus.
