One of the most exciting events in your bagpipe career is buying your first set of pipes. We are "factory authorized" distributors for Wallace and Gibson Bagpipes. We also carry the other brands as well. Below are various makes and models of pipes. They are all great products. I tell my students that you should buy a minimum of African Blackwood and if you can't afford that you should buy Poly Plenco Pipes. Poly Plenco is a resin material that is very hard. You want the materials of your pipes to be the hardest woods and materials possible. As these are musical instruments they are affected by climatic conditions that effect their tuning. Hard woods and resins mean that your pipes will be tuned for long periods of time. This is especially important when you play in a band with other people. For the prices quoted, all of the bagpipes below come with a Banatyne Synthetic Bag with your choice of water trap (Gibson products come with Canmore Zipper Bags as they have their own water trap system) , Cords, Bag Cover, Ezee Drone Reeds or SM90's, and Chanter Reed. This is the set up that I recommend for new players, however if you have specific elements that you'd like your pipes to be assembled with, I will be happy to quote a custom order. To initiate this process, push the button next to the product that you're interested in. We initiate all bagpipe orders with a $100.00 deposit. After knowing your specific requests, we will then send you an invoice with our quote that will include sales tax (if applicable) and shipping. Upon your acceptance of the order we will then move forward in completing the order for you. Payment would be due in full prior to shipping. If you decide at the time of our quote not to follow through with your order we will refund your deposit in full. Since the prices include the above options, don't push any of those items in ordering as you will be charged by Pay Pal for them. When we receive your deposit, we will call you and get your color options for cords and covers. To order bagpipes just push the button by the pipes of your choice.
