I have been playing the pipes since the age of 11. Pipe Major Thomas Shearer has given me the insruction needed to compete and perform across the United States as well as in the U.K.. At age 13 I played at the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. and began playing weddings by 15 years of age. In 2001 I competed with the Lyon College pipe band and came in 2nd place at the World Pipe Band championships in Glasgow, Scotland.
