The city of rockford pipe band was founded in january of 2000 and made its performance debut on saint patrick's day just three months later. since then the band has been active in midwest pipe band association (3mwpba) competitions, stage performances, parades, memorials, festivals, charitable events and fund raisers, as well as providing pipers for weddings, funerals and private the city of rockford pipe band is committed to making the tradition of highland music and dance highly visible here in our own community, the greater ilinois/wisconsin region, the usa and internationally.
