Rocky Mountain Pipe Band

The Rocky Mountain Pipe Band began as a spin-off group of the Calgary Highlanders in 1996.
Grade 3 Completion band from Calgary Alberta. Current members of Alberta Society of Pipers and Drummers Not pleased with the direction in which the Highlanders were taking,  Dean Rodger, who happened to be the Branch Piper for the Chapelhow Legion in Calgary suggested that this group should start up their own band and use the legion hall as a home base in which to practice, and of course, perform in!
