The band is headquartered in Torrance, California, a suburb of Los Angeles. Since its inception the band has traveled throughout the Western United States as a performance and competition band entertaining and exposing many people each year to Scottish Culture and music. The band is under the direction of Pipe Major Tom Reoch Jr. and Drum Sergeant Brad Kawamura. Wearing the Flower of Scotland tartan, Scotland's national tartan, the band members maintain the traditions, culture and music of Scotland. In addition to proudly wearing the traditional dress, the members study Scottish traditions and culture to better educate themselves and the public. The members transform their passion for Scottish traditions into the feeling and expression of their music. The music selections the band has played over the years incorporates many old time favorites such as Amazing Grace, Scotland the Brave, and When the Saints Go Marching In, and new tunes creating memorable performances that audiences enjoy.
