Police Pipes and Drums of Waterbury

A Police Pipe Band, dedicated to police officers in need. The band was formed in October 1993 and began performing in March 1994.
Our ranks are open to all with Police Officers from many different Police Departments in Connecticut as well as civilians. We are an organization that owes allegiance to no single department or special group. We wear a traditional Scottish full dress military uniform with feather bonnets, military sporran and full plaid. Our tartan is the Scottish National Tartan-Modern. In summer, the band frequently wears a modem summer weight uniform with military style shirt and no feather bonnets.
