Pipes and Drums of the Wessex Highlanders

Founded in September 2001 the Band has gone from strength to strength, having a full Diary of events for 2006. The band started with a small advert in a local paper and several A4 posters in and around Gillingham, Dorset. Interest was soon stirred by people from a wide area and background, age and gender. The love and appreciation of bagpipe music knows no boundaries. Our members have a wide range of musical ability from novice to professional musicians.
