From Central Scotland near Stirling, we have two bands, a Grade 2 and a Grade 4 Band. We compete each season and just try to get better
Fantastic, Grade 3A world champions took the crowning prize at the Cowal games by lifting the Champion of Champions in only their second season in the grade. Denny 3A placed second on the day at Cowal with the Drum Corp finishing a fantastic first for the second major championship on the trot!!!! Ya Beauty!!! However, this is not where the prizes stop - Denny Grade 4B took a massive step forward by finishing 5th in their grade, the first time since their formation in 2003 that they have taken a prize at a major championship! 'Mon the Denny!!! Despite the best efforts of the rain no dampener was put upon the celebrations which followed either through the street or in the Lorne!!! A big thank to P/M Mark Sutherland and P/M Colin Shearer for all their hard work and efforts, and also to L/D Stuart Patterson and L/D Sean Russell and to all the playing members hard work and dedication that has put Denny and Dunipace Pipe Band back on the map!
