Patiala Pipe Band

We have a pipe band in Pakistan since 1948. Alhaj Abdul Majeed Patialvi was the founder of Patiala Pipe Band, he has the honour to welcome Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah (The founder & 1st Governor General of Pakistan) with the tunes of his biggle on the Pakistan's Resolution Day in 1940 at Minto Park. His Grand Son, Chief Executive Haji Mukhtar Ahmed Patialvi has given Patiala Pipe Band a new vision. He not only build the great reputation of his Band in the country but as well in the world. This is the first band, who has the honour to participate in the World Pipe Band Championship, Pipefest & National Tartan Day parade Newyork for the first time in the History of Pakistan.
