Detail:

The Ulster Scottish Pipe Band was formed in 1922, making it one of the oldest pipe bands in the United States. It is primarily a Grade 3 competition band, and was honored several years ago by opening for several Rod Stewart concerts. The Band is currently under the direction of Pipe Major Dave Hall and Drum Sgt. Eric Knudsen and is located just outside of Philadelphia, PA. The bands compete at an average of 10 Scottish Games each year, also in a few parades and performances. Both bands are dedicated to teaching. We continue, as we have in the past, to strive for the best. We have several students, and are always looking for new members. We practice primarily in Villanova, PA, but on occasion will practice in Northeast, MD. If you are interested in becoming a member, please e-mail us.
