The Flint Scottish Pipe Band was founded in 1916 by a group of Scottish immigrants in Genesee County, Michigan, who desired to have a wee bit of the auld country in their new home. The Flint Scottish Pipe Band is the oldest pipe band in continuous existence in the state of Michigan.
