Ozark Highlanders Pipe and Drum Band, Northwest Arkansas' premier pipe band. We are a not-for-profit organization dedicated to preserving and performing the traditional pipe band music of the Scottish Highlands.
Drum Major Ramon Hendricks and Pipe Major Dr. Steve Wilson formed the Ozark Highlanders A Continuing History The Ozark Highlanders Pipe Band of Fayetteville, Arkansas in 1984. Since 1984, the band has incorporated a broad background of talent, and established a reputation as one of the top entertainment groups in the Ozarks. The Ozark Highlanders is a well-known staple of the Northwest Arkansas community, appearing regularly at parades, concerts and many special events in the area. The band has an extensive repertoire of traditional Scottish tunes. We also have experienced professional solo pipers available for parties weddings, funerals and other special events. The Ozark Highlanders is a member of the Eastern United States Pipe Band Association (30EUSPBA) and regularly competes at highland games and bagpiping/Scottish drumming competitions.
