Clan Macleay Pipe Band

Clan Macleay Pipe Band is one of the oldest continuously existing pipe bands in the United States.
The band was formed under the sponsorship of the Clan Macleay O.S.C. fraternal society in 1927, although some of the photographs we have from Oregon Historical Society suggest that we may go back to 1920. The band is self governing and self supporting. It retains its long standing affiliation with the Clan fraternal society. With an excellent selection of traditional music and marching routines, the Clan Macleay Pipes and Drums often called the Clan Band, a popular and well recognized pipe band in Oregon and the Pacific Northwest. The Clan Band presents complete and varied programs indoors and out. We are a regular performer in the Rose Festival Grand Floral Parade, as well as other parades and events. The band also competes in Scottish Highland Games throughout the Pacific Northwest, and as far away as Nova Scotia.
