Bergen Pipeband

The Bergen Pipeband is now nearly a year old and is going from strength to strength. There are now 7 bagpipers (4 newly on the pipes). We also have beginner pipers learning on the practice chanter. Piping and Drumming tuition began in late September 2005 and now takes place on a weekly basis on Thursday evenings between 6pm and 9pm at the International School of Bergen. Are you keen to learn either the Bagpipes or drums? We are keen to build up a drum corps within the band and from the end of October 2006, we will have 4 Pipe band snare drums - but only 1 drummer! Bergen is fortunate to have many drummers - past and present members of the Buekorps; do you want to play in a Pipe band? Both young and older students are most welcome to come and try them out and, of course, any existing players are very welcome! Pipers are available to play at any kind of event - corporate, wedding, party, funeral etc. Prices available on request.
