This site is dedicated to the promotion of men`s casual kilts as an affordable daily alternative to wearing trousers.
Women have alternatives. Why should not men? After all, the kilt is a mans garment. Instructions and drawings have been included for the making of a mans casual, traditional style kilt. Get your EQUAL RIGHTS and HUMAN RIGHTS. Wear a man's casual kilt. KILT MYTHS The kilt has its history deeply rooted in Scotland. However, there are many myths surrounding the kilt. Let`s dispel some of those myths. It`s a common myth that a man has to be a Scot in order to be entitled to wear a kilt. Not so. A man doesn`t have to be an American cowboy in order to be entitled to wear jeans (denims), or be a sportsman in order to be entitled to wear designer sports wear. And women throughout the world have long since ignored this myth when wearing their versions of a mans kilt. Entitlement has more to do with the wearing of the full Highland Regalia and certain clan tartans than with the kilt itself. And although it would be respectful to avoid some tartans, many other tartans could be worn which are in everyday use throughout the clothing industry. In any case, a kilt doesn`t have to be tartan, it can be a plain colour. Remember, that a kilt is a man's garment, which any man has the right to wear. Women don't need anyone's approval in order to wear a kilt (or trousers, for that matter), so neither do men.
