The Alabama Celtic Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and promotion of Celtic Heritage, Arts and Education in the State of Alabama. Alabama is home to a wide variety of Celtic organizations and interests. Several Scottish and Irish Dance schools, Pipe and Drum Bands, Scottish Highland Games, Irish Festivals, Celtic bands and musicians, as well as Celtic Heritage organizations and Clan Societies make their home here. Staffed by volunteers and supported by affiliate organizations and individuals, the Alabama Celtic Association provides resources to help Celtic organizations to communicate and interact with the public and each other. The ACA, through its web site and free bi-monthly e-version of Celtic Alabama News, also functions as a nexus for Celtic-related information in the State of Alabama.
