The Thistle Bag Cover... ...was designed with the comfort of the piper in mind along with simplistic touches to bring out the beauty of your bagpipes. Being made of corduroy this bag cover is designed to allow minimum slip without the use of added materials to help you keep the bag in place. Thereby maintaining the look you are attempting to achieve. The standard features on these bag covers include longer drone sleeves than the standard bag. The use of standard trim in place of fringing allows for a cleaner more professional look to your pipes along with less maintenance as you no longer have fringe that frays or comes off. The bags are sewn with heavy duty thread, this makes the bag more durable as the threads will last the life of the bag cover. Our bags also come stock with a 16 inch zipper for ease of installation, removal, and maintenance on your pipes. This bag cover can be modified to fit your desires through changing the material, adding fringe, and having it made in your family tartan. Some of these options might affect the final price of the bag cover. All of this for less than you would expect to pay for a standard bag cover with those shorter sleeves that barely cover the tie in cord on your drone stocks.
