Baton Rouge Pipes And Drums

Baton Rouge Pipes and Drums is a Baton Rouge, Louisiana-area Scottish bagpipe and drum band. We are available to perform for funerals, parades, weddings, church services, parties, and any other social events. 

The Baton Rouge Pipes & Drums was founded in 2008 to meet a long-standing need for a fun-focused, family-oriented, non-competitive ("free & independent") Scottish bagpipes and drums band. We also strive to operate in a Christian atmosphere.

The band offers instruction in bagpiping & drumming for all ages.  Scottish heritage is not required, only an interest in learning.  The founders of the band have at least ten, and often twenty or more years, of experience in their respective fields of expertise. 

The band has also provided the core of the Louisiana State Fire Marshall's Honor Guard Pipes & Drums when that group decided to expand its previous focus from a solo piper to a full band.
