Norm Weaver - AlaskaProviding piping services in Alaska until Mid September 2012

Your piper, Norm Weaver, has played the highland bagpipes for 25 years. For the last 23 years he has been a member of the Washington Scottish Pipe Band, pipers to the Washington St. Andrews Society and the Clan Gregor, USA.

Norm Weaver has played for weddings, funerals, (piping frequently at Arlington National Cemetery), church services, community celebrations, business and professional society meetings, school events, and private parties.

Both the traditional Highland Pipes as well as the quieter Session pipes are available.

Highland bagpipe music expresses strong feelings, ranging from joy to sorrow. In recognition of this, bagpipes have long been associated with many aspects of Celtic life, including gatherings for the commemoration of birth, marriage, and the end of life. In Scotland the pipes have been used to mark the passing of kings, clan chiefs, as well as members of the clans. You may wish to incorporate the traditional bagpipe music as part of the memorial to a loved one.
