I went to Yeoville Boys School from 1968 until end 1972. I then attended KES 1973-1977. I learned to play the bagpipes under Pipe Major Chris Mulinder of the South African Irish Regiment. Left SA 1996. Married to Michèle Hughes. Daughter, Iona, born 2003. Currently we live in Geneva, Switzerland - January 2010.
I started playing the bagpipes in 1973. I have my Senior Piping Certificate from the College of Piping in Glasgow as well as my Tutor's Certificate. I am graded C with the Competing Pipers Association and Open (Professional) with the Eastern United States Pipe Band Association (EUSPBA
