Although born in the UK, I grew up and spent most of my life in South Africa. I went to Yeoville Boys School from 1968 until end 1972. I then attended KES 1973-1977. I learned to play the bagpipes under Pipe Major Chris Mulinder of the South African Irish Regiment. Left SA 1996. Married to Michèle Hughes. Daughter, Iona, born 2003. Currently we live in Geneva, Switzerland - January 2010.
