Experienced Scottish Bagpiper available in New York and New Jersey for weddings, funerals, and family celebrations. Ian Rankine was born and raised in the town of Alloa in Central Scotland. He learned the pipes under the tutelage of Pipe Major Charles Lennox of the Alloa Colliery Pipe Band.
During his years in North Carolina he was active with the Cross Creek Pipes and Drums, serving as both Pipe Sergeant and Quartermaster.
Currently he lives with his family in Northern New Jersey, and is available for your family event.
Ian Rankine played the pipes at my service of Ordination as a Presbyterian Minister of the Word and Sacrament. I can't say enough good about the quality of his playing and what a gentleman he is to work with, a true professional.
