Northern Constabulary Pipe Band:

Northern Constabulary Community Pipe Band is a voluntary group of musicians drawn from the Police family and members of the public of the City of Inverness and its environs.

We practice throughout the year at Police HQ, Inverness (Monday & Wednesday evenings). The Band is funded through fundraising by members, sponsorship, grants, and fees & donations from performances.

The Band was set up in October 2002 and debuted in 2003 at the Isle of Skye Pipe Band Festival. Since then we have performed at a variety of locations around the Highlands & Islands and beyond, including the Scottish Community of the Year Awards in Edinburgh.

In 2007, the Band won the Scottish Championship at Grade 4B and took 3rd place at the European Championships. For 2008 the Band was promoted to Grade 4A.

(evenings & weekends only) we are more than pleased to perform for charitable events and concerts, and at (fee-paying) public or private functions.
