Bagpipe Suppliers, Tuition Products, Scottish Music, Chanters, Reeds and Books. Based in Edinburgh, Scotland. Our story began in 1981 with the setting up of the "International Piper" magazine with the late Captain John A MacLellan, former director of the Army School of Bagpipe Music at Edinburgh Castle and possibly the best known of all piping instructors. This partnership led to the production of our Beginners Piping Chanter Kit , our flagship product and the foundation stone of our company, which has become famous the world over and is as popular as ever as an ideal introduction to the world of piping. The Highland Bagpipe continues to grow in popularity throughout the world. Our aim, at Bagpipes of Caledonia, is to encourage more people to follow this trend and take up the challenge of learning to play this great instrument. Our wide range of self-tuition products developed and devised by Piping Champions over the years has proved to be a winning formula enabling newcomers from all over the globe to start off on the road to playing the bagpipe. Contrary to popular belief learning to play the bagpipes is just as easy to learn as any other instrument. Whether your interest is as a serious player or for fun the bagpipe will provide you with many hours of enjoyment.
