Lisbon's School of Piping The Portuguese Bagpipe Society has one of the most demanding and qualified bagpipe courses in Portugal, developing portuguese bagpipes and traditional portuguese bagpipe repertoire, as well as international, for begginers or experienced pipers. The School of Gaitas has evolved, since has some years, as one of the activities most important of the Gaita-de-Foles Association. Beyond the inquiry or spreading of the Portuguese and international património of Gaita-of-bellows, the best way to give to know a musical instrument is to teach it. The objective of the School of Gaitas is to always provide an adequate formation correcta and of this instrument, having in account the motivation, vocation and creative necessities of each pupil. Gaita-de-foles is the portuguese word for Bagpipe.
