 Montana's Premier Competitive Pipe Band
We are The Celtic Dragon Pipe Band, Montana's Premier Pipes & Drums Band & Highland Dancers. We perform and compete in Grade IV throughout the Northwest, and in Canada.
Our tartan is the Hunting MacGregor pattern.
The majority of our music is traditional pipe band music, relying on age-old arrangements passed among bands around the world-marches, strathspeys, slow aires, jigs, hornpipes, and reels.
We give credit whenever possible to the composer: Karen Farris from Ventura and Johnny Bog are composed by and used with permission of our own Pipe Major, Robert Laing, of Lolo, Montana.
Celtic Dragon Pipe Band was composed by and is used with permission of our good friend Ann Gray of Calgary, Alberta. Our arrangement of The Easy Club is by Rob Barrick, Portland, Oregon.
