We are based in Dundee, Scotland, and currently have two bands: a Grade 3A band, led by Pipe Major Allan Low, and a Novice Juvenile band, led by Pipe Major Anne Spalding. The MacKenzie Pipe Band was formed in 1918 at the end of the First World War to accommodate the need of the returning ex-servicemen to fulfill their musical aspirations.
After many successful years competing in Grade II, it was felt that amalgamating with another Pipe Band would strengthen Piping and Drumming in the Dundee area, and so the MacKenzie Caledonian Pipe Band was born.
