Founded just over thirteen years ago, the Elliott Bay Pipe Band has established itself as one of the busiest and most successful pipe bands in the Pacific Northwest. The Elliott Bay Pipe Band was founded in April 1992, but has already established itself as one of the busiest and most successful pipe bands in the Pacific Northwest. The band is based in Seattle, Washington and is named for the city's busy harbor. Under the musical leadership of Pipe Major Tyrone Heade and Drum Sergeant Graham Young, Elliott Bay's roster of active members has steadily increased over the past few years and now includes 22 pipers and 9 drummers.
