The NYC Transit Pipes & Drums was formed in March of 1997 to represent all Transit Workers and to provide entertainment at charity benefits and worthy causes. The Transit Pride Pipe And Drum Band was formed in March of 1997 , and is dedicated to the rich Irish Cultural Tradition's of the New York City Transit System and to it's founder of the Transport Workers Union Michael J. Quill
