Connecticut Firefighters Pipes and Drums, Inc. is a not for profit incorporated fraternal organization, founded in November of 1992 for the purpose of maintaining and furthering the tradition of pipes and drums in the fire service. The band is dedicated to the Connecticut Fire Service as a ceremonial band performing at 'Line of Duty' firefighter's funerals, memorial services, and other fire service related events. It is the purpose and goal of this organization to invite all emergency personnel (3Fire, Police, and EMS) who wish to learn either the pipes or the drums, or who already have either of these skills, to come and join us in the tradition of the bagpipes and drums in the Fire Service. The band has been awarded many first place trophies from parades in the tri-state area that we have participated in.
